The website nammo.com is owned and operated by Nammo AS, organization number NO 979 984 731 (hereinafter called "Nammo" and referred to as "we"), and is a shared portal for making available information about the Nammo Group and its products.

Who is the controller of your data?

The controller of your data is the Nammo company (hereafter Nammo) with which you deal with. The controller is the company that decides why and how your personal data is processed. This privacy policy covers all Nammo companies in Europe. Irrespective of which company is controller, if you want to ask questions about Nammo’s processing of personal data or enforce your rights, you may reach out to privacy@nammo.com.

 

Terminology

Where not explicitly stated otherwise, the terminology used in this Privacy Policy is interpreted in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

 

Customer, supplier and other business contacts

When you interact with Nammo in the capacity of representing a company who has or intends to have a business relationship with Nammo, Nammo will process your name, contact information, position and which company you represent.

The purposes of the processing of this personal data are:

  • ensuring and performing Nammo’s rights and obligations under the contract
  • enabling Nammo’s administration of the contract
  • complying with obligations set out in law/pursuant to law

The legal basis for such processing is Nammo’s legitimate interest, in accordance with GDPR art. 6 (1)(f), to ensure and perform its rights and obligations and administrate the contract. If required in law/pursuant to law, the processing’s legal basis is GDPR art 6 (1)(c).

Your personal data will be processed as long as necessary for the purpose mentioned above, and according to Nammo’s procedures for record retention after the completion of the contract.

 

Participant at an event

When signing up to events hosted by Nammo or with Nammo participation, you might need to register name, contact information, position, which company you represent and other information related to your participation.

The purposes of the processing of this personal data are administrating the event and for marketing, hereunder invitation to future events.

In such events, Nammo may take photos/video. If the use of such photo/video is subject to your consent under current legislation, Nammo will ask for your explicit consent prior to such use.

 

Visitors

When you visit Nammo, Nammo registers your name, contact information, which company you represent and who is the Nammo responsible for your visit. Visits to certain areas might require processing of further information. Nammo will inform you if this applies to your visit.

The purpose of the processing is Nammo’s legitimate interest in maintaining control of who is present on the premises. Dependent on where your visit takes you, you might be recorded by surveillance cameras. In some cases, registration and camera surveillance are measures are necessary for complying with statutory law.

You will be required to identify yourself by showing your passport or other approved identification documents upon arrival.

 

Next of kin

Nammo processes name, relation and contact information on its employees next of kin if the employee has provided such information. The purpose of the processing is Nammo’s legitimate interest in being able to notify and keep next of kin informed in case of emergency like illness or accidents at work.

 

Access to, disclosure and retention of personal data

The access to personal data is both organizationally and technically limited. The data is deleted when it is no longer necessary to process for the purpose, if there are no legal requirement to retain such data for a longer period. In some cases, like surveillance footage, there are legal restrictions on storage in some countries. Surveillance footage may be disclosed to the authorities/police in case if criminal activity is suspected.

If Nammo uses any third party to process personal data on Nammo‘s behalf, the purposes and means for such processing is set out a data processor agreement. Your personal data will mainly be processed within the EEA and countries which the European Commission has decided that ensure adequate protection of personal data. If a data processor is situated outside EEA and the European Commission has not issued an adequacy decision for such country, personal data will only be transferred using EU’s standard contractual clauses for data transfers.
