Nammo Raufoss NDT laboratory have competence, facilities and equipment to facilitate testing/inspection of a large number of product and components. In addition we also perform testing/inspection on site.
We understand the need for quality and with our competence within NDT, we assure that NDT testing/inspection and documentation are performed according to the customer’s requirement.
Defence products like ammunition in various calibers and rocket motors are amongst the products being tested/inspected and documented.
NDT laboratory performs Non-Destructive Testing within the following methods:
- Radiography - film, real-time systems and computer tomograph
- Magnetic particle - benches and yokes
- Liquid Penetrant - fluorescent and dye
- Ultrasonic – immersed and contact
- Eddy Current
Personnel performing NDT are certified according to NS-EN 473 - Qualification and Certification of NDT personnel - General principles.
