APEX

Nammo is currently developing an ammunition concept named APEX (Armor Piercing EXplosive) which will be effective against both light and armored targets. The APEX has the advantages of existing explosive filled rounds, but in addition it has an enhanced capability against armor. The round is fitted with a Tungsten Carbide Penetrator and the shell body is filled with an explosive.
