A new Board of Directors has been formed for Talley Defense Systems, recently acquired by Nammo AS. Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Emil “Buck” Bedard, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Gus Cianciolo, and Mr. Jerry Lockard have been elected as Outside Directors of the Board, with Mr. Lockard filling the position of Chairman.
- General Bedard retired from the United States Marine Corps in 2003 after a 37-year career. His service included operational tours in Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Somalia, and command of the Marine Corps Combat Development Command and II Marine Expeditionary Force.
- General Cianciolo held a wide variety of assignments in his 33-year career, culminating as the Military Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Research, Development and Acquisition.
- Mr. Lockard has held positions of increasing responsibility at General Dynamics, Hughes Aircraft, and Raytheon. He retired from Raytheon after serving as the Vice President and Deputy General Manager, Missile Systems Business Unit.
Joining them on the Board from the Nammo Group are Mr. Edgar Fossheim, President & CEO, Mr. Johs Norheim, Senior Vice President Business Development, and Mr. Ola Skrivervik, Executive Vice President Missile Products Division. Mr. Steven Wegener, Talley President and CEO, completes the new Board.
Talley Defense Systems, located in Mesa, Arizona, is a pioneer in developing aircrew escape systems, automobile airbag components, shoulder-launched weapons and other solid propellant components and systems.
