The HR policy shall secure motivated, competent and engaged employees
The right person with the right skills in the right position is one of our most valuable assets; this is why we want to highlight the use of every employee and his potential.
Due to this situation our focus on people has changed the last years and we will strive to find the right way of motivation for our employees and give them the opportunity to utilise their capacity and knowledge.
A success criterion for us in this process is to have good skilled leaders in all positions. We know that development of our leaders and key personnel is and will be a key factor in the future if we shall continue our positive development trend.
Our internal leadership-programme “Talent factory” has been given high priority the last five years. Good leadership inside Nammo is to utilise all the competence, skills and creativity we know all our employees hold.
Nammo's base values and its requirement for uniform practice together with the strategy for the company; form the cornerstones of the leadership programme. The leadership development programme together with continuous skill training of our employees in the units, will secure the knowledge and competence level needed for safety in all our operations and to be a competitive supplier of our products and services in the future.
Good leadership means also strong teamwork in our different operations. We wish to have employees with strong motivation and therefore is a practice of involvement of the employees in projects and decision-processes of crucial importance in our daily work-practice. Focusing in the motivation factors, leadership practice and every single employee’s environmental factor shows positive results.
With employees in five different countries, development of a strong collective company culture is a challenge. Nammo continue the work to develop common platforms based on our values. This work is reflected in leadership-programmes, internal seminars and in daily work. A further development of a solid common company culture based on our values will be a key element in our strive to develop the company further.
6 SIGMA
Our continuous improvement programme, 6 Sigma, will gradually affect people's competence and attitude, enforce alignment towards common company goals, and over time change the culture of the organisation.
Through extensive education in methods and tools, and through participation in improvement projects, people will adapt a common "tribe language" and obtain a better understanding of how to achieve lasting process improvements. Gradually, this will become a natural part of people's way of working.
