Nammo Demil Division has more than 40 years of experience in demilitarization with the operational facilities at Nammo Buck GmbH in Pinnow, Germany, Nammo Vingåkersverken AB in Vingåker, Sweden and Nammo NAD AS at Løkken Verk, Norway.
Demil Division also include project management companies at Nammo Demil Division AB in Sweden and Nammo Demil LLC in USA.
SERVICES
The Demil Division is specialised in handling excess, outdated and obsolete conventional ammunition. The processes used by the Division encompass the highest standards of safety and environmental consideration. We are proud to confirm that not only do these processes comply with the European Union laws and regulations, they even exceed them.
Our services also include turnkey demilitarization plant/process/equipment projects including consultancy, design, construction, planning, delivery, supervision, start-up and on-site project management as well as operator training and through life operational support.
KNOW-HOW
Disposing of stockpiled obsolete, aged or surplus ammunition in a responsible manner is a principle that is shared by many countries. Nammo Demil Division is able to rapidly, safely and cost effectively dispose of such products while avoiding any damage to the environment. Unquestionably, we have both the industrial know-how and capacity to solve all of your demilitarization problems.
The Demil Division also has experience and know-how of both supplying and supporting ammunition disposal plants or equipment and processes in other countries.
APPROACH
Our philosophy in processing the ammunition is to remove the explosive content and then where possible recycle and/or reuse materials including the energetics for other purposes (deleted). This is known as the R3 (Resources, Recovery and Recycling) and R4 (Resources, Recovery, Recycling and Reuse) philosophies within our business.
